The Story Behind Loreto House Music
Our name is inspired by the Holy House of Nazareth, the home of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, which, according to tradition, was miraculously carried to Loreto, Italy, to be safeguarded from destruction. This humble dwelling, the first domestic church, was a place where daily life and the presence of God were woven together through prayer, work, and quiet holiness.
That vision shapes our mission. We hope to help families make their own homes places where music, faith, and beauty live side by side. Where children discover that prayer and worship are not limited to Sunday Mass, but can rise up in the ordinary moments of home, even from the piano bench.
Thank you for taking the time to visit and learn about Loreto House Music. We’re grateful you’re here, and we hope our resources bless your home, enrich your prayer, and help you build a little “holy house” of your own.
Meet Molly
From $5 Lessons to a Mission
I started teaching piano when I was 14 years old to younger kids in my homeschool community. Back then, I charged $5 per lesson and taught straight from the books I'd learned on myself. I had about 20 students, and I loved every minute of it.
I've now been teaching for 15 years, and music has been my constant companion through every season of life.
Music Saved Me
I was diagnosed with dyslexia in third grade, and school was often a struggle. But my mom noticed something: if she could set information to a song, I'd learn it so much faster. Music became the key that unlocked learning for me. It taught me discipline, perseverance, and gave me a way to express what words couldn't.
I took piano lessons starting at age 8, competed in festivals, played for church choir, performed at nursing homes, and eventually auditioned and got accepted into music school. But here's the twist: I didn't go. I chose to study marketing and business instead, thinking I didn't want to be a "teacher" for the rest of my life.
The irony? I never stopped teaching. God had other plans.

What I Believe
Music is a Gift from God
Music raises our eyes to heaven. It's one of the most beautiful ways we participate in God's creativity and offer Him praise.
The Domestic Church Matters
Your home is where faith is lived, practiced, and passed down. When music fills your home, it becomes a place of worship.
Beauty Forms the Soul
Children who grow up surrounded by beauty—sacred music, liturgy, art, nature—learn to recognize and seek goodness and truth.
Every Child Can Learn
With the right tools, patience, and encouragement, any child can learn to play piano. And more importantly, any child can learn to love it.
Faith & Family
A Life Rooted in Christ
I grew up Catholic, attending daily Mass with my mom and siblings, but my faith truly became my own in high school. It shaped my friendships, my choices, my vocation. Even in college—when I sometimes hung out with people who didn't share my values—I always found my way back to the Eucharist, to daily Mass, to the Blessed Mother and St. Joseph.
My Catholic faith isn't just a part of my life. It's the foundation of everything I do.
Music & Marriage
I'm married to an incredible man who is a traveling Catholic worship leader. He plays piano, sings, and leads worship across the country. Music brought us together, and now we share that gift with our daughter, who already loves sitting at the piano with us.
Watching her tiny hands reach for the keys reminds me why this work matters. Music is formative. It shapes hearts, minds, and souls.
