The Story Behind Loreto House Music

Our name is inspired by the Holy House of Nazareth, the home of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, which, according to tradition, was miraculously carried to Loreto, Italy, to be safeguarded from destruction. This humble dwelling, the first domestic church, was a place where daily life and the presence of God were woven together through prayer, work, and quiet holiness.

That vision shapes our mission. We hope to help families make their own homes places where music, faith, and beauty live side by side, where children discover that prayer and worship are not limited to Sunday Mass, but can rise up in the ordinary moments of home, even from the piano bench.

Thank you for taking the time to visit and learn about Loreto House Music. We’re grateful you’re here, and we hope our resources bless your home, enrich your prayer, and help you build a little “holy house” of your own.

Our Core Values

  • Music raises our eyes to heaven. It's one of the most beautiful ways we participate in God's creativity and offer Him praise.

  • Your home is where faith is lived, practiced, and passed down. When music fills your home, it becomes a place of worship.

  • Children who grow up surrounded by beauty, sacred music, liturgy, art, nature, learn to recognize and seek goodness and truth.

  • With the right tools, patience, and encouragement, any child can learn to play piano. And more importantly, any child can learn to love it.

From $5 Lessons to a Mission

Molly’s Story

Molly began teaching piano at just fourteen, offering lessons to younger kids in her homeschool community. She charged $5 a lesson and taught from the very books she had learned on herself. Before long, she had nearly twenty students and she loved every minute of it.

Fifteen years later, music has remained her steady companion through every season of life.

Diagnosed with dyslexia in third grade, Molly often found school challenging. But her mom noticed something important: when information was set to music, Molly absorbed it with ease. Music became the key that unlocked learning for her. It taught her discipline, perseverance, and gave her a way to express what words sometimes couldn’t.

She started piano lessons at age eight, competed in festivals, played for her church choir, performed in nursing homes, and eventually auditioned and was accepted into music school. But in an unexpected turn, she didn’t go. She chose instead to study marketing and business, convinced she wasn’t meant to be a “teacher” forever.

Yet despite her plans, she never stopped teaching.

God, it seems, had other plans.

A Life Rooted in Christ

Molly grew up Catholic, attending daily Mass with her mom and brother, but her faith became truly her own during high school. It shaped her friendships, her choices, and eventually her vocation. Even in college when she sometimes found herself surrounded by people who didn’t share her values, she always returned to the Eucharist, to daily Mass, and to the steady presence of the Blessed Mother and St. Joseph.

Her Catholic faith isn’t just one part of her life; it’s the foundation beneath everything she does.

Music & Marriage

Molly is married to an incredible man who serves as a traveling Catholic worship leader. He plays piano, sings, and leads worship across the country. Music brought them together, and now they share that gift with their daughter, who already loves reaching for the piano keys.

Watching her little hands explore the instrument reminds Molly why this work matters so deeply. Music forms hearts, shapes minds, and nurtures souls.
